1-on-1 Peer Support
Personalized guidance from individuals who have walked the path of recovery.
Sometimes, healing begins with just one honest conversation. At The Lighthouse RCO, our One-on-One Peer Support services provide personalized guidance from someone who truly understands because they’ve been there too.
Each peer supporter is a trained individual with lived experience in recovery—whether from substance use, mental health challenges, or family system struggles. They’re not clinicians or case managers. They’re real people with real stories who meet you where you are, without judgment or agenda. These sessions often take place in The Compass Room, designed for calm, focused dialogue.
Whether you’re figuring out next steps after a relapse, preparing for a tough conversation, or working through a rough day, your peer supporter is there to listen, reflect, and walk beside you—not in front of you. Sessions can be scheduled regularly or accessed as needed, offering consistency and flexibility depending on your goals.
With a focus on goal-setting, coping strategies, and emotional support, this one-on-one relationship helps build:
Trust and Self-Awareness
Motivation and Accountability
Confidence to Navigate Challenges
A Sense of Purpose and Belonging
For youth and young adults, it’s also a chance to see that recovery isn’t about being perfect—it’s about having support when things get hard. And for parents or caregivers, it offers a place to talk with someone who understands the pain and the possibilities of walking alongside a loved one in recovery.
You don’t have to figure everything out alone. One step at a time, with someone by your side, is how change begins
